The following literature review was written in preparation for conducting an action research study looking at the effects, if any, of blended learning PL on K-3 educator program knowledge and preparedness to deliver effective foundational literacy instruction. By delving into the existing body of research on blended learning models, pedagogy and effectiveness I was able to establish a foundation of background knowledge and understanding for my current action research.
